About Us

Some things shouldn’t change.

Since its humble beginnings as a one-room factory on the shores of Lake Erie in 1920, Victory White Metal Company has had one purpose: to provide American industry with low-priced, top-quality solders. To this day, no other metal company offers the same value to its customers.

In 1937, Victory White changed hands and moved to 6100 Roland Avenue in Cleveland, where it has operated ever since. Growing steadily over the next sixty years, the company built a reputation for reliability and good service.

Today, Victory White Metal Company has less than one hundred employees, state-of-the-art equipment, and a tremendous metal inventory for producing customized alloys quickly and inexpensively. Victory White’s customer list spans a wide range, from local small businesses all the way up to Fortune 100 companies. That’s because no one turns their head on a good deal—not even industry giants.

Since its inception Victory has been a supplier to many U.S. companies who have utilized non-ferrous metals in the manufacture of their finished products.

Victory manufactures a variety of goods. The basic commodity is soft solder. Soft solder consists of various metals blended into a specific alloy. The raw materials used to create these alloys are tin, lead, antimony, bismuth, copper and zinc.

Current customers use solder in various ways: as a coating for sheet steel, as a filler in the heat exchanger industry, as a non-friction coating on bearings and bushings, in electroplating of printed circuit boards, in plumbing and refrigeration , and many other specialized uses.

Victory servers many of the largest American manufacturers including the steel, automotive, electronic and other OEM's.

During the many years of the company's existance, its watchwords have always been quality, service and competitive prices. The customer base is constantly increasing as more and more companies become confident that no better supplier than Victory exists.

Victory takes pride in its reputation and in its record of continuing success.

The world has changed a lot since 1920—but Victory White Metal Company remains a beacon of good value in the American metal industry.
